ISTOM

 

ISTOM is an engineering school specialized in agronomy and international development.

The school curriculum is divided in two parts. The first cycle (3 years) focuses on the basics of biology, microbiology and genetic as well as social and economic science.

The second one (2 years) is meant to teach the young engineers about management. Therefore giving us the keys to project organization and coordination as well as enriching our skills in the expertise field.

Throughout our scholar curriculum we will be expected to spend 16 month doing various internships beside the regular theoretical classes. Thanks to this singularity, the engineers that come out of ISTOM have a real adaptation capacity which enables them to work abroad, in a multicultural and difficult environment.

​The mission of our MJE will allow us, as young engineers, to learn about the tools of project management (and learn how to use them). This mission will also enable us to draw from the information we have gathered over the last years of our curriculum.
